Time-based Technology Improves Outdoor Wi-Fi Transmission

When an outdoor network spans large distances, its access points or stations are unable to detect each other’s transmissions. Frequent collisions will occur when multiple points transmit simultaneously. Senao outdoors feature PtP and PtMP technology, which allocates transmissions from remote locations into slots for efficient time-based management.

Dual-Gigabit PoE Ports Expand Deployment & Power Options

Deploy and power APs where power outlets are scarce on 802.3at/PoE-capable switches or PoE adapters up to 328 feet from the source. Utilize a secondary Gigabit PoE pass-through port on select models to connect and power additional devices such as on IP cameras or APs.

Ruggedized IP-Rated Housing Withstands Harsh Climates

Designed to perform in harsh environments, EnGenius outdoor APs feature IP-rated weatherproof and dustproof casing. Ensure that your network devices withstand temperatures ranging from -20˚ C to 60˚C, IP68-standard waterproofing, and anti-UV protection.
